I'm offering for swap this Woden saw sharpening vice or clamp thingy. I think it was meant to be screwed to the side of a bench, but in most of the photos I have seen they are screwed to a big chunk of wood so they can be clamped into a bench vice when needed.
I know some of you have a passion for old cutting tools and this really needs an owner who would use it as intended.
Right now I am after some veg tan leather for axe masks/sheaths & chip carving knives. But I really want this to go to a good home, so I am sure you have something in the cupboard I might be interested in. Just bear in mind this is going to cost a bit to post.
I know other saw clamps are available or you could knock up your own, but this one has the name of a Norse god on it!!:viking:
