This saw was a special order, fine rip filed teeth, unlike the standard 4.5tpi rip saw.
It was owned by a friend of mine, bought when he retired and had plans to do much woodwork. Life and family got in the way and in the end the saw has performed just a couple of short test cuts but is otherwise unused. It was stored without as much oil as maybe it should have been, and there are a few small spots of corrosion. It is sharp and cuts beautifully and at one time I would not have parted with it, but I now have a bandsaw which I can use for ripping and I do not foresee an opportunity to use it as it should be. It needs a home and owner who will love it and use it.
