serious tho,...if i,m in my regular wood i just listen to Mr Coot on the pond,..or generally just sit and listen,,,,

either take a book or just relax and unwind enjoying the fact i am alone.
plan different kit lists in my head and stare vacantly at the fire,
usually solo's are used to test theories/set ups etc i haven't tried before so if they don't work i don't look like a twit in front of others!

You ask what I would do well I am sat watching the fire as it grows dark and watching my bacon I am cooking for tea slowly cook over the flames dripping fat into the fire and hearing the crows come in to the trees.I am one happy man.
