Really enjoyed this weeks episode, and just think, if the squirrel thing takes off, in a few years we'll be enjoying Mcsquirrel burgers, southern fried squirrel, squirrel twizzlers and my favourite, squirrel in the hole. yummy.
Yeah, lovely - had five in a stew over the weekend, along with rabbit, pidgeon and pheasant ( was a game prep weekend - can you tell )

Yep last one tonight, Scotland in my listing,been enjoyable as well.and its on er...Now. got the book the other day and that looks pretty good as well.

I enjoyed the series on the whole, it makes a change to see someone promoting good food outdoors instead of compo rations.
Hope they make it a bit longer next time.

Did anyone get it on DVD and is prepared to lend it to me? Mine stopped just before the stalk!!!!
Hopefully I've got the whole series on PVR, and can transfer to DVD for you. I'm not sure when I'll be able to do it though, as time is tight at the moment. If no-one else has offered by the weekend, then PM me.

I've got all 6 epsiodes on my PVR. Tried transfering to a DVD last night, but not sure it worked. I'll test it tonight if I get time.

I am just watching the cornwall episode with the beef steak fungus.... I am sure I just saw him strike the fire steel with the sharp edge of the blade....
