why ripstop ??

Hi all

Am I the only one who hates ripstop ??

Its everywhere !!! everything's ripstop !! I strugle to find twil or garberdine clothing - cause everything's made in bloody ripstop !!!!

I prefer twill - I got from a German website (I get 90% of my clothes from there)
Twill carry smocks, jackets, shirts & trousers - by NfD - which I rate
Twill is soft, comfortable, windproof, water repellent, it looks & feels - soooooooo much better than ripstop

& I got * massive * savings too

Am I the only one who prefers twill ???

I wear blue jeans. But for ordinary twill type fabric clothing it's hard to beat Dickies work clothing: www.dickies.com

I got carry smocks, jackets, shirts & trousers - in luxury twill fabric - by NfD - in German army :

KSK 3 colour desert & fleck desert pattern.

Its so soft & comfortable !!!!! A $170 smock for $59 !!!!!!!
$90 shirts for $39

utter bargains !!! All new & best German quality

But everything's ripstop !!! It looks bad, its rough & scratchy on the skin & not as windproof I've found
Twill is much better : see the new : Leo Kohler atacs smock in twill just perfect for hiking & being outh there & with heaps of pockets

Yeah. I agree. Ripstop does have it's place but it's not my first pick.
