    Why is everything ripstop ???

    I hate ripstop, I use twill. I got from a site in Germany - awesome : carry smocks, smocks, shirts & trousers - all in twill , & with MASSIVE savings !!! I prefer twill it is soft, warm, comfortable, windproof & water repellent - ideal for outdoors :)

    But why are 99% of garments (suitable for folks like us) ripstop ?????? So annoying !!!!! J
