I was also thinking that haha!

But yeah the entire thing is ridiculous! Stealing is bad enough as it is, but to then steal from a rescue team is just worse as it is putting people at risk as well!

You cannot apply logic or decent behaviour to some folks, they just dont understand or care.
I believe Honesty and decency is something that is taught rather than inerrant. If you have never been taught what is right or wrong then this kind of thing does not grate on the conscience as it would most.

hope they recover or replace the kit.
