I am looking to get some wool pants for the winter here in NZ - autumn is around the corner and although we are having a record summer, you cant't escape the seasons!
I think something along the lines of wool whipcord pants - about 11.5 oz per sq yard, as opposed to the really thick and heavy ones, as I think they would be just too heavy.
Johnson Woolen Mills and Filson both do whipcord (USA companies) - does anyone have any recommendations? I'm not after army surplus because I have enough of that and always seem to be wearing something ex mil or camo...
I want to move on from my old Swazi and Ridgeline track pants!
