On most DOs the legs aren't really long enough for substantial air flow but they do work to some extent (if you're careful i your selection, you can find some with longer legs) They especially make towering the DOs possible (see the link I posted)

I have this up for sale here but no taker sofar and having just sent off a smaller/lighter dutch oven and got a bil for £12 postage so you'll be getting a bargain with this ceramic one. If it doesn't go by the weekend I'll shove it on ebay.

It's about a 5 litre one, maybe 5.5.

No pressure, just bringing this to your attention is all.

Totally agree about the bigger ones being more handy, the 4 litre ones I have are fine for small groups but the portions get progressivly smaller as the numbers increase. Case of survival of the longest reach.
