i need a torch for work, that i can carry on my vest.i already have head torches so i dont want to use these. what i am looking for is a military style angle head led flashlight ,any ideas,also i dont want to spend silly money.

you could take a look at the zebralight Hseries headtorches.
while they are primarily designed as headtorches, they are basicaly a small LED angletorch, which is mounted on a removeable headstrap. with the kit you also get a pocket clip, allowing it to be used as an angled head torch.
humvee also make an angle torch which might do the job,

One's used at work cause the LED is awesome at showing up flaws in optics we work with.
The other I use with the optional filter pack you can buy for outdoor use at night where low filtered light is better.
The clip is rotational and the unit can be placed on its back to shine vertically too.
Do a search on google. I'm sure there's a review on candlepowerforums too...
