Jurassic Coast
Too many creepy crawlies and things that eat you whilst you`re asleep Drew

And then there`s the zombies

Plus the not entirely insignificant dangers of sailing across the atlantic without charts on a unknown boat which almost certainly won't be fitted out for the crossing ;)

You don't have to go too far away - there was a case in the 1990s (I think) of a criminal who hid out in a small wood in Hertfordshire for over six months. He was ex-forces, and despite people looking for him he was able to remain undetected, despite being only 10-15 miles from a major town, and 1 mile from a farm.

Will try to remember the exact details as it's an interesting case.

found out about that yet?

it sounds very interesting.

I got the decade completely wrong!

It was in the 1960s... very famous case known as the Massacre of Braybrook Street where three policemen were murdered by three criminals in London.

One of the murderers was Harry Roberts and he managed to hide out in Epping Forest and woods in Hertfordshire using skills he gained in Malaya with the army.
