Where can I buy some size 13 boots in the UK for Hiking, buschcraft etc.

  • Come along to the amazing Summer Moot (21st July - 2nd August), a festival of bushcrafting and camping in a beautiful woodland PLEASE CLICK HERE for more information.
Here's a site I've bought a couple of pairs of boots from and the are fast and efficient.
http://www.polimil.co.uk

Last pair I bought were YDS tan desert boots for summer wear,
I got them last Septmeber and I must admit for the price I'm really impressed. Comfortable,
and so far hard wearing, I'd certainly consider a full leather pair when my Lowa's wear out...
They are way better than the Magnums I had previously.

cheers
Gareth

There is at least ten pages ofsize 13's here, did not count them all, might be something that fits the bill for you.

It's a safety shoe site, so a lot of the stuff is VAT exempt, although I do wonder if sellers of vat exempt footwear are not elevating the prices of their products because ....... because they can , as it it looks like a bit of a saver to buyers.

Good link. & Good point about VAT.

I'd be concerned about Steel Toe-caps in winter.
Anything but safe - a danger of frostbite ? although I've never actually tried it :D

If you look at the specifications you will find composite, aluminium and fibreglass toe-cap and sole protection options, and those options reduce the weight of the footwear too.

I have these: (company issue fortunately)

Have a look at the Brahma brand of footwear. Don't let their price put you off they may be cheap but they aren't cheaply made and last absolutely ages. Had a gore tex set for shooting and bushcrafting for about 2 years. And I'm a 14 so size isn't a problem
