if you ever get chance to see a live performance of this, move heaven and earth,sell everything so you can afford to see it. Hearing the instruments resonate in the theatre ,especially during the overture ....you will never forget that. I can recomend the Opera North production of it.I'll shut up now!
I have never watched/listened to classical music being played live. Far too 'common' for that during my younger years. I would love to go to one though... Maybe I can find a nice outdoor venue some time this summer.
Not so much a particular song but station instead. BBC 6 music always my go to on a Sunday. If you like eclectic music switch on. Listen to it all day on a Sunday from 8 in the morning till 10.at night. Always positive up some banging songs I've never heard before
Following on from this post would anybody be interested in a sister thread of the best live concert you've ever been to or the most times you've seen a live band.
Z For Zachariah audio book, started it last night. Read the book at school about 83/84 i think, i remember liking it. I remember liking the Play For today version on the BBC too later.
I’ve only listened to two or three audio books previously. I am not sure i like it, i prefer an actual physical book for sure. Audiobooks are convenient i suppose but it’s not like actually reading one.

Clem. That is bizarre. I had to read the same book for school as well. Must have been part of the curriculum at the time
It probably was then i guess, I don’t know for sure but id think it was.

AC/DC High Voltage
Their first and in my opinion best album. Brian Johnson is a great energetic singer but he never quite managed to live up to AC/DC's original vocalist Bon Scott for pure rawness and character.
... and the bagpipes on the opening track... Genius!

Definitely Bon Scott for vocals, a unique voice, but I would say Highway to Hell is the best, although there’s not much in it to be honest! I got into them age 14 or 16 and still love them age 61, Highway to Hell is my go to album when cycling.
