Gwhtbushcraft + dad - archery and air rifle (if possible)
Hi,
As chance would have it Gwhtbushcraft's taken us to a total of 16 asking to do archery and/or rifles. The max number per session is 12 and as mentioned before, I believe the 'Go's - value - cost' ratio works best at 6 to 8. I'm camping on site this weekend and I'll book the sessions then (two 1 hour sessions of both) - If anyone else wants to use the ranges you need to say so before Friday - I'll stick a 'reserves' shootinng list onto the postings for anyone expressing an interest from friday onwards.
can i change the range list to include myself +1 to include the air rifles please ?
Sorry if this mucks you about
well there's always the next meet... got any dates in mind
Yeah I noticed that as well - most strange (wonder if this one will...)Strangely, your post doesn't show in new posts nor did it show as the last post .... er ... posted
Are you saying I'm Fat ('cos you're not wrong )Don't worry about it - it means we've all got that little bit of extra space
Thank you - I willWish your dad the best from all of us
Yes... thanks for rubbing it in WoodstockSorry you cant make it we will all be thinking about you sitting through another family get together while we're in the woods eh,,sitting round a camp fire

There is a silver lining though; While you are all gathered round the fire supping Stags Breath and devouring bunnies etc I will be gathered round a pub table supping and nice pint (or three) of Broadside (for the uninitiated the beer of the gods - imho) and devouring an unfeasably large lump of beef, or pig, or fish... Aww now I've gone and made myself hungry.
Read that about five minutes ago - and I'm still chuckling! Nice oneNope - I was saying that there aren't many people who have to duck when the International Space Station passes over head
OOOH Now you've done it,:swordfigh I was trying to make out you were getting the best of the deal, but you you had to go and rub some salt did't you...So ... you'll be stuck inside while we'll be surrounded by bushes, trees and wildlife, wearing comfy clothes, enjoying our freedom, sharp things, a fire, a wide choice of drinks with no struggle to the bar ..... Oh, and a shorter walk to bed - shall I go on? ...... So far I'm failing to see your silver lining .
Agreed - Hobgoblin is nice, but Broadside (IMO) does not tavel that well, so unless you are drinking it within 10 miles or so of the brewery (and I will be) you aren't getting it's full potential, so I'll stick to my guns on that one.talking of ale, Broadside is good but i like Hobgoblin as well.

Yes in the evening you will have the upper hand, but during the day? Well I'll have this! Oh and I almost forgot Westleton heath is within spitting distance as well
last time I went for a bimble I was almost squished by a brace of red deer (something had spooked them and they didn't see me until the last moment) and stalked a muntjack to within 30 feet.
