Been a while since I posted here but that doesn't mean that I haven't been busy!
I have for sale five walking sticks:
All sticks have been fitted with rubber ferrules which can be easily removed and refitted should you choose to shorten the stick. Sizes are approximate. All sticks finished with several coats of yacht varnish.
A: Hazel with Red Deer antler “Y”; finished with Buffalo Horn. Brass collar. Natural vegetable tanned leather grip, dyed green and decorated with footprint and compass design. Paracord and vegetable tanned leather wrist strap with maker’s mark and antler ring. Length: 1420mm. Diameters: 27mm (top) 21mm (bottom).
B: Blackthorn with Red Deer antler “Y”; finished with Buffalo Horn. Brass collar. Woven leather handle decorated with Turk’s Heads in braiding leather. Paracord and vegetable tanned leather wrist strap with maker’s mark and antler ring. Length: 1400mm. Diameters: 24mm (top) 20mm (bottom).
C: Hazel with Red Deer antler “Y”; finished with English Yew. Copper collar. Natural vegetable tanned leather grip, dyed tan and decorated with various “bushcrafty” designs. Paracord and vegetable tanned leather wrist strap with maker’s mark and antler ring. Length: 1380mm. Diameters: 25mm (top) 21mm (bottom).
D: Hazel thumbstick with natural “Y”. Braided leather grip. Paracord and vegetable tanned leather wrist strap with Celtic knotwork design and antler ring. Length: 1400mm. Diameters: 17mm (top) 21mm (bottom). (NB: top is narrower than bottom on natural thumbsticks.)
E: Hazel stick with Red Deer antler coronet (great for blackberry picking etc!) Brass collar. Paracord and vegetable tanned leather wrist strap with Celtic knotwork design and antler ring. Length: 1330mm. Diameters: 25mm (top) 22mm (bottom).
