I was getting restless yesterday and decided to make a sheath for a knife I made last year. All that was
needed was an old leather briefcase that my neighbour was throwing out a small nail and hammer and
thread. Then a quick brush up with some boot polish. It's not highly finished as I wanted that hand made look.

Patrick, that is a wonderful sheath, I like the idea of regenerating used materials to make new items. No doubt the sheath will last for many years.

I once knew a mechanic who said he could fix anything with a hammer and I thought he was joking.

Its amazing that you can craft a perfectly functional leather sheath with a hammer and an old nail. ;)
