I do remember that and thought it was a very new twist on the treasure hunt angle - excellent that people could participate from wherever they were based.I ran that treasure hunt competition on here a few years ago (https://bushcraftuk.com/community/t...ound-field-note-book-we-have-a-winner.155196/) based on clues you could see using Google Streetview or on-line searches. It meant that people could participate without having to travel half way across the country to do the hunt. Not as enjoyable though I grant you.
Don't try doing it now BTW, I haven't checked the Streetview images are still relevant
