Okay one more.

Yes I know its tricky....I have more "environment" shots later if its too hard.

Bus, by way of a challenge, cCan anyone identify this print on a muddy slope?

A dificult one........no scale comparison or location information.....best deductive reasoning given the information presented.....

Probably multiple imprints of a hoved animal.....deer/pig/goat/etc.....

Am I in the ball park at all?

Lets provide a little more context to the track on this one

The bank - the print is on the dirt trail entering the hole

Close up of the hole

Does that help?

still limited scale ie, how big is that opening and no location info....but it does suggest a somewhat smaller print than previously invisaged.....which could mean it is a rodent or even bird, like a martin maybe....but it would mean its still a multiple print....

Anyone else any further ideas? I'm enjoying this....

Smoggy.

The prints are throwing me off, the use of the entrance to the hole looks wide, not sure on location definately not rabbit, take a stab in the dark, saying most have been said, lets say Shelduck. Although it looks pretty damp in that hole.

The hole is...18" high :)

I think the hole is badger. I suspect the print are "toes" without the remainder of the print (two prints overlapping). I think it might be "gripping" toes to avoid skidding.

But I have been worng so many times!
