Watch out for some mantracking sequences on James May, Manlab Series2, where James and his buddy Oz escape from Dartmoor Prison, and are pursued by a team of Shadowhawk Trackers.
The series is a light hearted look at some of the skills lost by men.
There should be some "interesting" tracking techniques as James tries to throw the trackers off his trail.

I do have a HD TV but I'm sure I've not seen them in the listings on this freeview tele or the others in the house. This is even after re-tuning recently now that analouge is no more.

Hmmm not sure, our TV came with HD and Freeview on it so there was no messing around with the channels to get the HD ones.
Maybe someone else on here may have an idea about it.

Watching it now, the lead tracker is "getting into the mind" of the escapee by clarting a load of mud on his face.

Groan, spare the drama and just do the tracking.

Nice to see abit of Tracking on Brit TV , I'm sure eveyone involved was asked to 'juzz' it up a little.
Best Tracking stuff I've seen on TV was the Mantracker Series :-

which is worth a watch.

Best of luck to Max and the rest of the crew ( Jaime , Steve , Duncan etc ) I enjoyed my time on a course with them some time ago that I would love to do again.

I also see they have a new course Manhunter! , looks good!!
