Stringmaker told me that he had been in contact with other bushcraftuk members, concerning his illness, through the Full Members' Forum. Sadly, last week, he passed away. He will be having a Greenwood burial, in a plot surrounded by oaks, not far from our home. My thanks to those who commiserated with him, distracted him with bushcraft matters, supported him and tried to help him through a very tough time.

So very sorry to hear this, and sorry too for the family he leaves behind.

Thank you for letting us know what happened to him when it must be such a difficult time for you.

He was interesting company, and he will be missed.
The Greenwood burial sounds right somehow. I hope the day goes gently for you.

Sincerest condolances and kindest regards,
Mary

I have no words for this; I feel a great loss for a man I never met in the flesh.

Sincere condolences to family and friends.

A sad loss. Our thoughts, condolences and best wishes are with you all at this saddest of times.

Let us know when the burial time is and we'll have a brew, bow our heads and be there in spirit.
