Thoughts on this blade shape.

These are my latest unfinished knives. They will be used for camping, fishing and general outdoor activities. I don't carry an axe so they will be employed in battoning and the likes.
They are 277mm long with a 150mm blade length and 5mm thick. Blade width is 30mm. They will be given a secondary bevel once heat treated.
I would be interested in peoples thoughts on them.

The mora is just for scale.

i like that high grind,....looks very useful,...

so its like a foot long camp knife then?

i,m looking to either buy or make a camp combo using a similar sized camp knife and a smaller matched buddy blade,....

whats the steel mate?

The steel is 01 Raikey. I should have put that on my original thread mate! Doh!
A buddy knife, i just might have to steal that idea!
