Nil by mouth today then scan at four , I'm relatively fit and strong but this is a nasty pain and wouldn't wish it on anyone , it's opened my mind to a whole new world of the early hours I'm surprised the amount of people and car's, that are about , feel like I've been missing out lol . Also do believe that to much sleep is as bad as to little as feeling ok on a 11pm-3am pattern at the moment

All The Best , Stewart

I do indeed, someone who is qualified to administer a naturopathic protocol.

I trust that when you refer to a "qualified practitioner" you mean a qualified doctor, with access to the latest technology so that the real cause of the pain can be identified before treatment..........

So a doctor with a generally recognised medical qualification then? Because, looking at various naturopathy websiites, it appears that this is not a requirement. eg http://www.naturopathy-uk.com/home/main/ http://www.naturopathy-anp.com/

To be honest, I have my doubts. When recommending "treatments" like homeopathy ( The practitioner may use the specialised disciplines of homeopathy, herbalism, and acupuncture (Traditional Chinese Medicine), in addition to a variety of physical therapies ) it enters the world of fantasy, not medicine. As for traditional Chinese medicine, I wouldn't tell the WWF you're a supporter of it, seeing as their active ingredients tend to include a number of highly endangered species:)

You're behind the times, S! THe original WWF threatened to sue the wrestling WWF, which is why they are now the WWE:)

Doh! Yeah it's all coming back to me now that you mention it. LOL

I wonder what would happen if the original NRA (National Rifle Association) decided to sue the National Restaurant Association?

Arrrrrgh if could wrestle a panda with each of us being allowed five weapons of our own choosing I would Even contemplate giving them some money towards their pointless cause!

I do find it strange that the WWF use a Giant Panda as its "figurehead" animal. If ever an animal had made its case for evolutionary extinction, its the Giant Panda. Terrible reproductive rate, and so specialised it can only survive on one food source (and that requiring huge volumes as nutritionally its very poor per weight consumed). A classical evolutionary "dead end" in pretty much every respect.

But it does look cuddly and cute though...........

Nasty useless things.

But the Chinese government seems to like them as ambassadors (which shows the level of international goodwill in China these days...)

I had to read all this thread to see how Pandas were connected to the OPs gallstones
Only to find they are not
lol
I hold pandas in nothing but respect so have little to offer; but if they help with the gallstones lets see what we can do

I had one a decade ago, doctor gave me this pill and told me to drink lots of water. Fearing the pain I did, down half a litre of water, ran to the toilet and it shot right out.... Didn't feel a thing, the pill had completely numbed me. Turned my pee opaque sunshine yellow though for two days.

Much like the Gobi Bear; but you never hear about the Gobi Bear.

I know someone with gallstones who has chosen to live with it rather than undergo surgery. She just keeps fat (saturated in particular) saturated fat to a minimum, and eat fairly healthily. It's rare that she has any issues...

No idea why she doesn't want the surgery/treatment, but there you go.
