Looks like the trick is to browse lots of the bushcraft stuff, and then o to the hot picks for you

for example tarp clips 10 for 63p
scotch eye auger bit £3.61
100ft 550 cord 1.83
net hammock £2.81....

the deals vary on browsing history....

also coupons like £3 off 29 spend etc....

Go Outdoor in Basingstoke is closing down and has 30 odd % off everything. The staff tell me they are relocating to new premises in the town centre but with their own car park. Let's hope the increased staff costs of the Budget don't scupper that.

Well, I guess I have been lucky then, because my Baton II has been going well since March 2019. It has edged out my three Fenix lights for every day carry, and lives in my back left hip pocket when I am not at work (office trousers and sitting on my butt don't do well with torch carry)
I also only see their stuff on youtube when I go looking for reviews, so hadn't noticed it was getting pushed.
I will look up that Wildwoman video. I just ordered another light from them, a new Baton Turbo, which looked like the light I have been waiting about 10 years for. It will suck big time if it doesn't hold up as well as my older lights!

A lot of the olite videos on youtube seem to be just after a new model has been released, and they ship loads out to reviewers, they dont seem to have been used for very long before the review, one of teh good things about Dave Canterbury is that he reviews things for months before doing the video...

They cant be all bad or they would have gone out of business...

a brand name doesnt mean quality, just look at the problems with teh leatehrman arc and thats really expensive...

That and the need for proprietary batteries and chargers.
