The Elderflowers are ready!

So this weekend was elderflower cordial time

Made some borage ice cubes too

Added some 2017 gooseberry vodka because..well.... gooseberry and elderflower work!

And we have home grown cocktails

Oooh loverly stuff.
Struggling to find any this year, local council got a bit enthusiastic with the chainsaws over the winter, and I'm having to go further afield this year.
I'm off on an elderflower hunt tomorrow, I have roped in a pal to drive to a good spot, and the lemons are bought ready, bottles are clean and waiting.
Meanwhile made lime cordial with a job lot of "sell by date" limes. Jolly nice with some fizzy soda.
I must do some borage cubes to go with the lime cordial. Thanks for the reminder.

Most of these cordials work well with fizzy water. They also combine well with fruit flavour spirits I find. Damson vodka & lemonade is our Pimms equivalent
