We held a Patrol Leaders and assistant patrol Leaders camp over the weekend and sctivities such as Knife and Axe, Backwoods cooking, fire lighting and pioneering were done. On fire lighting I was using Flint and steel thanks to:

Adestu [Flint] and Whittler Kev [Steels]

I got this photo purely buy accident as one Sciout was desperate to get a good strike. I was trying to caputure it with camera and aboy 20 shots later we got it.

Thanks both your items caused much intrest and enormous pleasure when they evnetually got sparks and learnt belting them both together like hell did not work. Technique is everything.
