For those in the NW of England, just a heads up that Tamarack Outdoors are having an open weekend, this weekend 18 -20May 2012.

TAMARACK OUTDOORS’ MAY EVENT IS THE SECOND WEEKEND OF THE POPULAR GARSTANG WALKING FESTIVAL. TAKE A LOOK AT THE MYRIAD OF EVENTS GOING ON AT WWW.WYREBC.GOV.UK, THE FESTIVAL RUNS FROM 11 TO 20 MAY 2012



THIS YEARS EVENT INCLUDES A PROMOTIONAL DISCOUNT BOTH IN STORE AND ONLINE, ON ALL OUTDOOR EQUIPMENT AND CLOTHING.

LOTS OF ACTIVITIES TO SEE AND JOIN IN WITH. COME AND HAVE A GO AT FIRE LIGHTING, TRY YOUR HAND AT OPEN BOAT CANOEING, HANDLE FERRET’S AND WATCH THEM RACE, SEE MAGNIFICENT BIRD’S OF PREY, WATCH CHAINSAW CARVING, HAVE A CHAT WITH HELP FOR HEROES AND BOWLAND MOUNTAIN RESCUE AND SAMPLE SOME WILD FOODS.

THE TAMARACK STORE IS OPEN FROM 9AM TO 10 PM, COME AND GRAB A BARGAIN OFF THE SALE RAIL OR USE THE OPEN WEEKEND DISCOUNT FOR THOSE NEED TO HAVE OUTDOOR ITEMS.

As a bonus...there's a really nice chap running some have a go fire lighting stuff with his Explorer Scouts, so if you're in the area on Saturday, pop along and say hello!

Called in on Saturday and had agreat time , bought a few goodies at greatly reduced prices and even better helped raise over £1300 for help for hero's
