I've joined Bill's forum. I've an interest in surival/preparedness as well as bushy, my interest in bushy came originally from Y2K survival considerations.
I hope that BCUK doesn't supress survival/preparedness threads, I think that would be a shame.

I agree Lurch. I think the 2 subjects are very closely related. On my courses I teach both traditional Bushcraft skills, as well as survival methods using modern salvaged materials.

I am in the process of putting together a 2 day residential course that will cover such subjects as Emergency Preparedness, Storing and preserving food supplies, Emergency First aid etc..

I have been a member of Survival Bills site for a few Months now. Some excellent information to be found on there.
