Work commitments may mean I wont make it till Saturday morning, will know nearer the time, but I'm definitely coming

If there's no Mint in it (don't ask) then add Swallow + 2 for the stew.

Ms Swift offered up some herbs if they are wanted for this. Rosmary & Thyme I think.

We normaly just use dried Herbs.. and no mint ..

I've just booked Friday off work, so will be aiming for a Midday arrival at the Compasses. fingers crossed, as there will be some new peeps arriving, who else can make it for the Friday Midday at the Compasses.

What arrival are you Aiming for Swallow?

It's about a 2 hour drive, and on this occasion we have something on 'til 7pm Friday. So earliest we could get up there is 9. Too close to curfew given Friday evening traffic. The gents have set up in the dark before but it didn't always go well.

So we'll go for the next morning. Somewhere between 9 & 11. Not optimal. But it's a start.

The weather doesn't look too severe at the weekend. No sun, but temps of 13-15'C and minimum of 4 at night.
Should be a comfortable weekend.

I should be there for opening time, but we do have a midwife appointment at 10.20 so may be late, our last appointment with her was the first of tne day at 9.20 and we didnt get in until 10.00.

I will be getting the venison out later today, this will be the last of the diced but we do have 2x2lb bits of back strap which I could dice when neded or it should do for roasting.
