Its a nice pack for a day in the woods.
cant see why it wont work teamed with the kit sausage

Yeah that's what I thought, plus it might be a more comfortable and less sweaty load carry, and still within the bounds of the challenge.

too many other commitments this year I'm afraid mores the pity.
so I'm just gonna make "helpful" comments this time round.

and do my own boone stuff. possibly with some 21st Century boone thrown in

Stu, I fancy doing a nice hike tomorrow maybe Thetford or Rendlesham and was thinking I coukd do the boone challenge route to test it out or even to help with waypoints etc, ket me know if you have the route details and if so I will recce it and report on it, obviously I dont mind company if anyone fancies a 1 nighter

The Boone challenge is not at Rendelsham or Thetford, and its only a short walk between the woods that we will walk between.

Ah I knew id read it. No probs thought if youd not walked it I may be of assistance, I shall have a wander over there and test my minimal kit out anyway, be a good refresher.

Just opened a parcel from e-bay, expecting this, View attachment 29015 and found this. View attachment 29016 Some kind of Czech or Polish army

Cheers Sam, it appears the seller mixed the two parcels up, and someone's now got a bag instead of Yugoslavian field shirt. Just waiting to hear back from the seller.

Just heard from the seller, and he has dispatched a replacement rucksack, + I get to keep the Yugoslavian M85 field shirt. Happy days.
