The bog oak stocks are still healthy and somehow carving it is quite addictive.
As the pieces are mostly pretty small it is leading to some unusual spoons.
I particularly like the small one with the "beak" which my son has baptised as
"Ravenskull".Sort of a tiny multitool as the beak is quite sharp like a tanto blade.
Any comments as usual , are welcome.I'm trying to get as much practice in carving this stuff as I can before I tackle the big piece I have found to be the handle for my Dave Budd laminated blade.
