Spoon knife heat treat

Got my first spoon knife to heat treat tomorrow, but im unsure on the best method to quench it without stressing the blade.

Any suggestions?

Everything else would be the same as a normal knife right?

Have you asked this over on BB?

I imaging as long as you normalise it first there would be no more stress than any other blade.

No different to heat treat a spoon knife than a straight one.
