The oldest town in Switzerland. 30 degrees and still snow on the mountains .

From my walk along the Rhine.


And it is legal to have a campfire anywhere in Switzerland. Shame I didn't bring my DSLR but the phone camera isn't too bad. Despite the beauty I am looking forward to coming home soon.

It has been a good trip, very hot, but I will be glad to get home. The forests and mountains are fantastic but I do miss the English woodlands and I believe the weather has been the same at home.

Such classy old buildings and the river-crossing carriage.
Mountain valley bottoms are such stinkers for trapping summer heat (or winter cold).

It was magnificent scenery all round and woodland trails all over the place. I can see what you mean about that picture

How do you find the altitude? At 2000M there is 75% of the air.

Lovely location. Lots of opportunities to wander and spot the wildlife.

I was in Chur in the Rhine valley so altitude was not an issue, even up on the tops by cable car it was not noticable.
