Just got back in the house from sledging. Plastic sadly. Seen a few nice classic wooden ones going cheap here in Sweden, but Ryan Air allowance doesn't allow!

spent 3 hrs out with the lad today thankfully we all have our winter gear so there were no tears about the cold from anyone )

I'm jealous! No snow here and there is a hill that would be perfect for sledging.

I've just had an email from a longstanding member of our search and rescue team saying he's not hill fit because of a sledging incident, apparently sledging and crampons don't mix!

Doh!

Yea we went yesterday with the kids over to the park didnt have a sledge though so we used the round plastic cover from the sand pit hehe didnt work to well the first few times untill the snow was compact and slippy then it worked great there wasa bloke there with a blow up ring aswell that looked good fun lol
