So whats the long story?, definitely an interesting looking knife
Bought for a tenner a good few years ago. Turns out to be a few hundred years old (hence not made by me ) and the inlay in the bone is..err...gold. North African Flyssa style seems the best bet.

I thought bone/antler looked best on classic folder but even a modern polished one is tickling me in the right places these days!

That top knife is a lovely mate, I also have one or two that I regret selling
A little neck carry ferro rod, from reindeer antler, leather and buffalo horn with brass pins,
and my favourite walking cane, reindeer antler, leather, thuya burl on a hazel shaft,
just making a bowie with another bit of reindeer antler,
these are all from the same antler, seven pounds from the Reindeer centre in the Cairngorms
