Hey,

After using my crook knife for a wile now and its begin to get blunt and looking at it I don't know how to sharpen it

So i was wondering if any ones got any ideas on how it can be done to get a good sharp blade.

Thanks

some sand paper, and a wooden dowel to fit the inside, go through the grits, say from 240 up to 1200, then polish with strop, if you cut the dowel in two, you can use one side, for the leather, and the other for the wet and dry, i made up different sticks with the different grits, and that works for me.
hope that helps mate

I agree with Dave. I was told to sharpen the outside, on your stone by using a sort of rolling action, then if you really want - give the inside curve a polish with autosol!

Clear as muck :)
