Hi guys, my friend gave me this stone before he left UK. Anyone know what kind of stone it is? If it is an oilstone, what oil shall i use for sharpening? Thank you very much :)

Yes it's an oilstone. It's made of carborundum (silicon carbide) and as seen in the photo, each side is of a different courseness. I use 3-in-one oil.
