On a slightly more serious note, apart from their appearance in First Blood, where such knives seriously issued to any military? I had one back in the '80's then joined the Dark Blue mob. I think my brother used it to open paint tins, a role it excelled in.

420 MOLECULAR stainless

Yarr! 420 Molecular(not even 440?!)! I got a camo one knowing it would change my life back in the day. The edge was really sharp, until I needed to cut something. The precision compass was dead accurate, unless I happened to turn while holding the knife as it would turn with me. The wire saw was amazing, until I tried it and it snapped. Apart from that it was a great knife. Who needs a Mora when they can have all that for ten bucks!
