I've had a quick search on here but can't find any info on repairing a poncho.
Mine has a few pinhole size holes and a few small tears. Has anyone out there repaired their poncho before or would it be cheaper to get a replacement.

I was thinking about using some of the repair patch from my thermarest or maybe dabbing clear silicone sealent on the inside and hope that it would stay on. There are probably 9 or 10 small holes in the poncho.

All ideas welcome and appreciated.

try seamgrip it should work even on the rubberised ones. just stick a blob on and let it set

Thanks crazydave I will try and source the seamgrip. It wont go to waste anyway.

Crazyclimber, I have the old reliable gaffer tape on already. Not sure what to call the camo effect. Silver and green a sort of a space camo maybe...

Hi, I've found McNett's Tenacious Tape to be a very effective repair. You can cut small patches from the short roll of tape you get. Stick it to the underside of the garment.
