Now I have a good woodgas stove I figure a set of decent secateurs would be a useful item to stash with my brew kit for stick chopping.

Seen some nice LAGUIOLE secateurs - multifunction folding secateurs in rosewood and stainless steel.

Anyone got any recommendations?

Cheers

I had one set....BB claimed them in a heartbeat.....five years later they are still her favourite (although the knife blade is pants for a Leatherman)

Wilkinson sword do some that are cheap and cheerful...but "okay" in construction for the money (under a ten spot)

Went for these in the end

Will review when they show up. A bit bigger than had planned but can cope with much larger diameter branches. Great for woodburning twig stoves like emberlits, honeystoves and wildstoves, safer and lighter than an axe.
