Hi all,i was out this afternoon and thought i would do a Ready Steady Cook 10 minute quicky bushcrafter bag ;) .

Here we have the larder and kitchen.

So lets tip out the quicky bag and lets see what ingredients we have.

Well we have a shop bought Tortilla plus Chicken Tikka bites and some natural yoghurt.

Now then you have 10 minutes when you hear the words READY STEADY COOK!!!

So the first 5 minutes was spent foraging for some of natures lovely edibles

From top clockwise we found Nettles,Ramsons,Common Sorrel,Hawthorn leaves and Dandelion. Plus some flowers of Gorse and Cherry blossom for decoration.

First off i put the Ramson roots in the fire embers to cook, while they were cooking i wilted the nettles in the flames to destroy there stings.

Next i chopped up the Common Sorrel and added that to our yoghurt.

Once the Ramsons roots were ready i popped the Tortilla on the fire to warm through.

"You have 30 SECONDS left on the clock", time to assemble the dish.

Great stuff Stuart. Such a pity our plants aren't as far advanced as yours are, not by a long way. Looking forward to my first RSC meal. Hope you get the bits off the jacket OK! :)
