that is fantastic.... however I would kak my pants if I saw someone wearing that walking towards me in the woods, I would think its someone with a hard name like blade was hunting vampires.....

Cheers jojo, still trying to get out of the front door!!!!!

Tengu - bought the horn like that, luckily the supplier just lives up the road from me and I had the chance to pick from the tonnes he has of the stuff - google - highland horn.

Tank - we had a chat around the old fire with a couple of beers about this same subject a few weeks ago - the best we could come up with was 'bob' - so blade is an improvement.

Below is the near finished article, still got to tidy up a few bits like the belt and am also making motorbike type boots to go with it which should be fun seeing as I have no idea what I'm doing - and ye before you ask - that does apply to most things!!! But just gotta try these ideas out.

<looks puzzled> Tank, are you a vampire then?

Yup, my Larper friends would be highly impressed too.

Tengu, asa and drew - After having googled LARP I can see what you mean, the imaginative and different is right up my alley, even the weaponry with this suit would probably excite rather then bemuse. So ye, any of your friends wish for the unusual - give me a call.

if you want to see the daggers/knives made for this armour just look on my blog, their hanging around there in the more recent post.

drew - I guess the quick answer to my leather work is from constant experimentation and variation of items I have made - some people specialise, I have generalized and enjoy the work more for it - could'nt imagine doing the same old stuff day in day out plus the challenges of some new keep me young and the old brain ticking over........just!
