Its happening now, but the peak isn't until the night of the 3rd/4th. Lets hope for clear skies.

I didn't get to see any of the autumn/early winter ones due to cloud cover. This one is supposed to have some of the brightest after the moon goes down. 
I see at least one shooting star most nights when I'm walking the dog,( lack of cloud cover permitting) I've never seen an actual 'shower' though whenever a meteor shower is announced. A streak every 5 - 10 minutes doesn't constitute a shower in my book.especially when a shooting star a minute is advertised

Yeah seen that one, and looking forward to it. Theres another visible in the southern hemisphere now but we may not see it.

I'm going to try to be on Wam Barrows, Exmoor, for this - no light pollution and a grand hole to lie up in
I finished work on the 20th and we haven't had a dry day here in Cumbria since. I'm such a hopeless optimist though that I'm hoping to see these tonight.
