Hi folks, not content to setting things on fire outside, i have now taken it indoors also. I was lucky enough to recieve a Pyrography set for Xmas from the missus.
So today i took my first tentative steps into wood burning to create art(allegedly).
I decided to try some fungi for my first, but then my youngest said she wanted it for her room, and so i added her name to it.
All i had was some Pine cladding to practice on, which is not the best wood for Pyrography, as the growth rings burn at different rates, thus causing a ripple effect rather than a steady smooth line, but hey, you got to use what ya have.
Anyway i still have lots to learn though.
Thanks for looking.
Cheers Stuart.
