Irrational attachment to inanimate objects

So, I was wondering, am I mad? or do any of you have similar feelings about inanimate objects?

do you consider knives "inanimate objects"?!

and i'm 100% convinced that my faithful walking stick who accompanies me since over 18years (he's honourably retired now and rests besides my mattress...)has a personality of his own
