Puukko Laur95 Masir Birch

Just another simple Puukko.

As the title says Lauri carbon 95 blade, Masir birch handle, factory ferrule.

Sheath is 3mm veg-tan with a beech liner WIP - will post more pics when the dye has dried & it has been oiled & waxed.

I hope the intended recipient likes it...

Masir Birch AKA 'Curly' Birch

Now you mention it I appear to have spelt it incorrectly...

"The highly-decorative Masur (or Karelian) birch, from Betula verrucosa var. carelica has ripple texture combined with attractive dark streaks and lines."

Thats lovely fella.
I can honestly sat that H's knives are even more lovely in the flesh and the sheaths are some of the nicest I have seen.
I would love to be able to make a sheath that tidy!
