Protein from hazel?

Patrick, something that has always interested me about fish traps is their varying designs and shapes. is it purely local variation, or is each trap suitable for specific species of fish???

Then I think...which knots for each different part?...are they made green or seasoned?.....do you work from the middle outwards?.......how do you achieve symmetry?..........do you make some kind of jig to help the process?
