Powdered egg

I spotted some powdered egg in tescos of Clitheroe about 18 months ago but the eagle eye behind the check out said "sorry I can't sell you these they're passed their sell by date" maybe my reply of "that's ok then, are you going to give me them?" upset her because I got the 1000 yard stare and a right stroppy attitude Yak! Yak! Yak! ( where's the customer's always right idea gone ? ) I walked out leaving the rest of my shopping on the belt and haven't been back since and have only seen dried egg whites about which I use in my waffle mix. So stretch3144 's DIY looks worth a go

Have you asked somebody who works in your Tesco if they stock it? I find using the tongue in my head to ask when I need help is quite handy, and Tescos' customer care isn't that bad!
