Phormium Cordage

Finally had a go at making cordage. I didn't think I'd be able to do this, but it's not as difficult as I thought it would be. I'm glad i had a go. Spent all afternoon shredding phormium leaves and making impromptu pendants by drilling beach stones and antler. Great fun and gives your thumb nail a cool green colour.

The phormium cordage seems to be very strong BTW.

AKA New Zealand flax. My garden is held together with it.
