Right - as part of the clean out of many books (most of which are "junk" fiction and have gone to the charity shop, I turned up copies of

Bravo Two Zero (Andy McNab) - mint hardback copy

and

The One that Got Away (Chris Ryan) - mint hardback copy

and a paperback copy of "The real Bravo Two Zero" (a book that compares and contrasts the two accounts of the patrol and plots the route on maps etc. in an attempt to work out what really happened.

They make an interesting set that cost about £40 at the time.

If anyone hasn't ever read these and would like to (or would just like a nice set of them)

post your name on the thread and PM me your address and they are yours for the asking

Just watched Bravo Two Zero last night.
I'd love to read the book Red

You get them all Lawrence - its a job lot :). Good to read them both since they cover the same event (although with very different interpretations)

PM me your addy and I'll post them to you

As we seem to be in a passing on mood, does anybody want a hardback edition of

'Into Thin Air' by Jon Krakauer, about the 1996 disaster on Everest? (I ended up with two copies) First come, first served

Arrived safely, these should keep me busy for a while.
many thanks red

Just on a side note regarding Bravo Two Zero and The One That Got Away, i'd like to direct people to yet another B2Z book, one that i think and in my humble opinion smacks the nail on the head - Soldier 5 by Mike Coburn.

A fantastic book

*apologies for jacking*
