Pallet chair

Surprisingly comfy and far more robust than a folding camp chair, I made one of these for the moot, and a few people asked if I could put up a thread on it. Please excuse the quality of my draughtsmanship, but I think it should be clear enough.

The pallet wood is approximately 95mm x 25mm and all the fixings are 5 x 50mm


Pallet wood can vary in size, these measurements are based on my chair.
Tip, a small piece of foam mat cut to suit the seat, makes a big difference in comfort.

Personally I'd extend the back so the head can rest on it then you can have a good kip in it

fantastic! I recognise the pattern from reenactment chairs I have seen with two planks that slot together, but they don't look have as comfy as this, love it

That was where I got the idea, a Viking? chair I think.

Nice one Mr. Kelly, I like that a lot. Simple and elegant. Could also have multi uses as a bed frame, van liner, kit carrier and sled for moving heavy stuff around. All that and it looks comfy as heck. :thumbup:
